The IIA’s new Global Internal Audit Standards require that the Chief Audit Executive has the responsibility for managing the Internal Audit function in accordance with the internal audit charter and Global Internal Audit Standards. This responsibility includes strategic planning, obtaining and deploying resources, building relationships, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring and enhancing the performance of the function.

 

This session will explore leading practices that Internal Audit functions in the financial services industry employ to elevate their strategic focus and planning in accordance with the new Global Internal  Audit Standards.
