RMA Idaho and CREW Idaho are pleased to present their second annual “Women in Banking” event! Join us as we hear from former Idaho Senator and Founder of Sojourner Coaching, Cherie Buckner-Webb! Cherie is a respected international speaker and will be discussing Women in Leadership.

Dr. Nsafoah and Mr. Entenmann will discuss the current state of the national economy, and the local / regional economy. Topics to be discussed include the Interest Rates, Tariffs, Executive Orders coming from DC, Housing Market, GDP, Corporate Earnings, Wages, Inflation, Unemployment trends, Bond & Equity market trends and Impact on CRE.

The seminar teaches fundamental credit skills and practical lending techniques using daily seminars in conjunction with related case studies. The week concludes with the popular "Mock Loan Committee," where students apply what they have learned to a presentation in front of seasoned credit and lending professionals. Each instructor during the week is either an experienced lender or credit professional from an RMA member bank or a recognized expert in their field.  Based on feedback from previous classes and in recognition of changing trends in the industry, the program is constantly updated to fit the needs of the next generation of commercial lenders.

The road to bad communication is paved with good intentions but poor construction. Readers know when subjects and verbs don’t agree, when punctuation misses the point, when words don’t fit, and content is confusing. In this session, learn how a few basic rules on grammar, punctuation, and usage can improve business written communications with clearer, more succinct content.

This comprehensive lending school has been designed to serve the fundamental commercial credit analysis training needs of community bankers. The course consists of a review of basic financial accounting concepts and the presentation of basic financial statement credit analysis theory rooted in industry-adopted “best practices”. Using specifically designed case studies enables course participants to take a “hands-on” approach when applying the analytical concepts discussed. The case studies have been specifically designed to allow participants to work within an information framework strikingly similar to that experienced in the field.

The course begins with the needed background in financial accounting for those individuals who have had no financial accounting classroom training or as a refresher for those who have had previous financial accounting training. That is followed by a curriculum that focuses on interpreting information typically contained in accountant-prepared financial statements, personal financial statements, and, more particularly, U.S. federal income tax returns.
